Education Qualification IWAI Recruitment 2024

Post	Qualification	Desirable
Assistant Director (Engg.)	Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.	Experience in inland waterway work, dredging, river conservancy, river training, marking of fairway, etc.
Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor (AHS)	Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in Hydrographic Survey.	A) Knowledge of Geographical Information System Software and computer operation. B) Knowledge of Nautical Cartography. OR Survey Recorder-I of the Indian Navy with 10 years’ experience in survey and navigation.
Licence Engine Driver	i) Matriculation Pass Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. ii) Certificate of competency as Licence Engine Driver. iii) Should know swimming.	Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen/Coast Guard/Para-Military Forces personnel with the required Certificate of Service issued by the Competent Authority.
Junior Accounts Officer	Degree in Commerce from a recognized university with 3 years experience of cash, commercial accounting, and budget work in Central/State Govts./Statutory or Autonomous bodies/Public Sector Undertakings. OR Degree in Commerce from a recognized University with Inter ICWA/Inter CA.
Dredge Control Operator	i) Matriculation Pass Certificate or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. ii) Certificate of competency as Driver 1st class with 10 years’ experience in the Grade or Petty Officer from Technical Branch of Indian Navy with one year experience in the Grade; or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience of one year in operation of dredgers. iii) Should know swimming.	Experience in operation and maintenance of dredgers. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen/Coast Guard/Para-Military Forces personnel with the required Certificate of Service issued by the Competent Authority.
Store Keeper	Matriculation or equivalent with 5 years experience in stores, handling, spares, equipment, etc.	i) Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. ii) Knowledge of Accountancy, Book-Keeping, and Typewriting.
Master 2nd Class	i) Certificate of competency as Master 2nd Class. ii) Should know swimming.
Staff Car Driver	a) Should possess a valid and unendorsed driving license, with at least 2 years of driving experience and elementary knowledge of motor mechanism. b) Middle School Certificate.
Master 3rd Class	i) Certificate of competency as Master 3rd Class (Sarang). ii) Should know swimming.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)	Matriculation or equivalent pass.
Technical Assistant (Civil/Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture)	i) Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture or equivalent. OR Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture from a recognized institute with 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.	Experience in design of civil structures, dredging, inland vessels, marine workshop, or design of inland vessels.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age – 18 years.
• Maximum Age – 25 years.
